About the Author
Welcome
Hello, and thank you for stopping by.
My name is Terry Kuder Jr. I’m a digital artist and the creator of TmagikNation and TmagikArt.
TmagikNation came into existence purely by accident.
For most of my life, I’ve painted. I’ve also been a musician for over 47 years, playing piano and creating music. But like any creative path, there are moments when inspiration shifts — when your hands want to create, but in a different way. During one of those moments, I found myself wanting to draw again, the way I did as a child.
I purchased a digital ink device called a reMarkable, and something wonderful happened. Drawing with a pencil — where my love for art began around the age of ten — came rushing back. I started sketching small characters: a mouse, a squirrel, and little creatures that felt like they belonged to a world just beyond our own.
My wife, Vanessa, and my granddaughter, Airikah, saw these drawings and immediately connected with them. What started as simple doodles slowly turned into characters. The characters became personalities. And before I realized it, stories began forming in my mind — stories that needed to be told.
I began pairing those stories with music and sound, creating them in a movie-style format. I even compose the music myself on the piano. But eventually, I felt a pull to share this world beyond my own home. Since I already had an art website, TmagikArt, it felt natural to give these characters a home of their own.
That’s when TmagikNation was born.
The name comes from my artist name, Tmagik, which itself is rooted in my initials (TGK). These characters come from me — from my imagination, my experiences, and my heart. While Walt Disney’s Mickey Mouse once encouraged us to “use your imagination,” TmagikNation grew from a similar but deeply personal place: the belief that love, kindness, and understanding can help resolve fear and conflict.
My plan for this site is simple.
I will continue creating these stories one chapter at a time — not for money or recognition, but as a way to share something meaningful. These stories are designed for children ages 4 to 8, but I truly believe they can be enjoyed by anyone who still values imagination, compassion, and hope.
TmagikNation will continue for as long as inspiration and energy allow.
To my friends, my family, and my therapist — thank you. Your support, encouragement, and care made this possible. I believe deeply in healing, and I believe love plays a central role in it. For me, that belief is rooted in God — but above all, it is expressed through love, family, friendship, and growth.
That belief is the heart of TmagikNation.
Making the Impossible True.
Thank you again for being here.
God bless you, and take care.
